Rehearsal Dinner

I asked Donna Boren to help plan and cater my son’s rehearsal dinner and I could not have been more pleased. I knew from past experiences that the food would be wonderful, but she was also so helpful and easy to work with in the planning of this special night. 50th Anniversary Party

I contacted Donna early in the year to reserve her catering services for our anniversary party in November of 2009. We met on several occasions and discussed our plans and desires for the event. Donna was so helpful and excited about our plans. She helped us so much in planning the table linens, food and arrangements. She took care of all of the rentals and assured us that the food would be prepared to our delight. She was on target...Everything was just wonderful! The menu was different and beautifully prepared; and our guests were so complimentary of the whole affair. We had over 300 people attend and they raved about the food. Many have called her for help with their events. I would recommend Donna with an A+ for her cooking and catering abilities. I would definitely use her services again.

Military Retirement

On retiring from the Marines in 2008, rather than having the associated events on a military installation, we decided to have the ceremony and reception in Crockett County. We hired Donna Boren of Donna Does Details to work with local officials, military units and supporting businesses to plan and execute a reception on our Farm for 300 people, coordinate individual activities for out of towners, and support the actual retirement ceremony, which was open to the public and held on court square in Alamo. She was a master of detail and a craftsman in execution. Over two days she attended to the myriad of challenges in holding the series of events far from a military installation. Her actions were prompt, positive, and effective; it was an extremely professional production that my friends in the Marine Corps who attended continue to comment on.
